Card payments are increasing every year. Offering payments via credit or debit cards in your e-shop is a MUST. We can assure you that setting up the card payment module with the FastCentrik shopping cart system is easy and free. The complete Moneybookers set-up is done in the FastCentrik administration system and is very simple and straightforward. Of course you need to be a Moneybookers account holder first.

You may think that credit card payments are only available to those customers who have a Moneybookers account. This is not the case, as any customer with a valid debit or credit card can pay online in your store using Moneybookers payment gate without even knowing who Moneybookers is.

Moneybookers set up process
Opening a company account on Moneybookers.com
- Go to http://www.moneybookers.com/app/index.pl?l=EN
- Click on ´Registration´
- Complete and submit the registration form - do not forget to tick the ´Company Account´ option (even if you are a single trader or tradesman) and enter the exact www address of your store
- React to the email instructions from Moneybookers
- As soon as your account is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Continue to step 6 described below.
Payment adjustment in the e-shop administration system
- You need to set up four main areas in the administration system (menu: System Set Up / Moduls Set Up / Payment / Moneybookers Payment Gateway - as you navigate to each form, enter the appropriate data and click save).
- Go to System settings/ Payment Methods, in the administration system – ´payment options´ appears, activate the required methods: Credit/Debit Card Payment via Moneybookers and eWallet Moneybookers
- Continue to System settings/ Delivery-Payment - the list of links between delivery and payments appears, click on [New relationship] and create a new link (you can create more than one link at the same time), click on [Save].
- Place an order in your store. There should be two new payment methods visible (Credit/Debit Card Payment via Moneybookers and eWallet Moneybookers), if they had already been activated previously (see no. 7 above).
- You are now ready to accept card payments. You can view your Moneybookers account status and processes anytime by signing in to your account (similar to online banking). You will find all received orders and their details in your Moneybookers account and all the collected revenue can be easily transferred to your bank account.
- We recommend that you place an order (a small amount) first, use your card when paying and then check that the money arrives in your Moneybookers account.
Discount for our clients - important - inform us first, and we can organize a discount!
- At https://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=m_fees, you can see that regular internet businesses pay 2.9% + 0.29 € for received cards payments (Moneybookers Quick Checkout method). However, there is an exception for NetDirect customers. They only need to pay 2 % + 0.29 € for payment transactions. In case your card payment revenue is quite high, we can arrange an appointment with a Moneybookers representative with whom you can negotiate even better conditions.
- As soon as your store is ready for release and you have completed the Moneybookers payment set up, please contact our HelpDesk and include your Moneybookers ID, contact name, e-mail and the URL address of your store.
- Our staff will immediately forward your details to Moneybookers and the discount will be organized within three business days.
